RESTAURANT SERVER - FULL TIME - STARTS AT $16/HR (more with experience) + cash tips

• BENEFITS ELIGIBLE 1st OF THE MONTH AFTER 60 DAYS FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT
• $300 SIGN ON BONUS AFTER COMPLETION OF 90 DAYS

• Learns daily specials from the cooks and writes them on the “Specials Board” in a timely manner.
• Greet guests with a positive and welcoming acknowledgement within 1-2 minutes, escorts them to their table, and provides menus when bus person is not available.
• Assist bus person in clearing plates, glassware, etc. and setting tables in dining room.
• Takes beverage order when bus person is not available.
• Supply service bar with food such as soups, salads and desserts.
• Serve alcoholic beverages upon customer request. Obtain proper identification from customers whose age may be in question (anyone under 40). Observe customer’s demeanor so as not to over-serve alcohol to someone who may already be intoxicated. If question arises, contact Restaurant Manager or MOD for final judgment. If over two alcoholic beverages are served to a patron, notify the on-duty bartender so that the guest is not over-served on the Gaming floor when they leave the restaurant.
• Informs patrons of daily specials, soups and desserts.
• Takes food orders, waits on patrons and expedites food orders.
• Ensures guest satisfaction by following up after delivering food order, and correcting any mistakes/forgotten items.
• Maintain needed stock (dressings, sour creams, rolls, etc.) for working shift and future shifts.
• Collects payment from customers. All sales must be rung into cash register and servers are responsible to maintain proper cash control procedures to account for all sales.
• Totals receipts, at end of shift, to verify sales and clears cash register and prepares and delivers accounting paperwork and cash register deposit to the appropriate area before leaving shift.
• Assist in cleaning restaurant during slow periods to ensure a healthy environment for our customers.
• Perform side-work to ensure a clean, neat, well-organized work area – both front of house and back of house. All side-work must be completed before checking out with the MOD and clocking out of your shift.
• Stock the upstairs Bar for the next shift. Make sure it is neat, wiped down and presentable.
