The Role:**

As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will partner with sales executives on customer deals as a seasoned technical consultant. You will bring value to all opportunities through comprehensive customer requirements gathering, discerning customers business challenges and opportunities in their pharmaceutical operations and fostering informed and value-based designs that achieve customer goals.

You will also align customers to solutions through communicating and defining business impact in of key product differentiation. Youll collaborate heavily with customers, internal stakeholders, and the Solutions Design and Solution Engineering teams to ensure credible and value-focused results.

**What youll do:**
  • Partner with sales executives to conduct opportunity technical intake, qualification, and solution path determination to meet customers business goals and needs.
  • Collect comprehensive business and regulatory requirements from our prospective customers through a detailed intake process.
  • Identify key areas of opportunity within customer operations to drive value with our technology.
  • Consult with internal subject matter experts to communicate technical feasibility of customer requirements and operating parameters.
  • Review on-site evaluations of current or future customer operations to collect critical layout parameters.
  • Evaluate and analyze customers existing pharmacy operations volume and profiles to derive critical system throughput targets and staffing needs for proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop concept layouts and equipment requirements for proposals.
  • Develop detailed documentation on operations, systems, and equipment requirements through thorough opportunity qualification.
  • Create value-based solution overviews for customer proposals that highlight how iA technology creates opportunity and solves challenges.
  • Support the other sales engineers through reviews of deliverables for solution accuracy, approach, and completeness as needed.
  • Partner with Sales and Pricing to build and communicate comprehensive proposals and business cases to our customers.
  • Communicate iAs product value through solution design expertise to all levels of a customer organization.
  • Consults and proposes products, systems, and services requiring technical knowledge of engineering and cost-effectiveness.
  • Works with customers and production engineering to determine how products or services could be designed or modified to best suit customers' needs; Demonstrate to potential customers how and why your products and services would better suit customer needs than competitors products.
  • Proposes changes in equipment or materials use that result in cost reduction or operational improvement; supports the prepares financial and operational estimates.
  • Reports on market changes affecting company products and services.
**Who you are:**
  • Bachelors degree in industrial, mechanical, or comparable engineering discipline.
  • 6+ years of designing complex automation solutions, including 4+ years' focused on automated system design, in a pre-sales, consulting or engineering roles with progressively increasing responsibility.
  • 3+ years of warehousing and/or pharmaceutical fulfillment or retail operations.
  • 3+ years' experience with AutoCAD software.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct advanced analytics on complex operations, interpret findings, and develop informed recommendations to customers at all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and convey the value of complex automation solutions to technical and non-technical customer audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple strategic customer engagements concurrently.
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Willingness to travel up to 30-40% as nee ed (Up to two 2-3 day trips per month).

**Compensation:**

The estimated base annual salary range for this position is $110,238.20 to $149,145.80, though a candidates base annual salary shall be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience. This position is also eligible for commission payments.
