Senior Account Manager

Reports to: Production Manager

Purpose: A Senior Account Manager is primarily responsible for communicating with customers and vendors, processing orders, and working with other departments to ensure orders are finished in time.

• Process and enter orders in E2 system.
• Thorough contract review, which includes reviewing government requirements and other regulatory/compliance requirements listed by the customer.
• Provide job requirements to purchasing department.

• Promise the orders to the customer.
• Provide proactive communication to the customers:

o Respond to pull-in or push-out requests.

• Communicate any issues, shortages, requests, and other correspondence that may impact production with vendors and/or customers.
• Communicate with other departments (shop floor, assembly, deburring, etc.) to discuss capacity limitations, scheduling, problems, updates, etc.
• Work closely with the Production Manager to ensure all orders are processed thoroughly in a timely manner.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
