Senior Accounting Clerk

Responsibilities:

• Efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications, ensuring all necessary checks are completed.
• Maintenance of precise customer credit records, updating data when necessary.
• Resolving customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, acting as a point of contact for all account-related concerns.
• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions to ensure financial integrity.
• Conducting account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting purposes.
• Working with Sage Intacct for optimized accounting functions.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Collaborating with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve customer experience. • Must hold a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role
• Proficiency in account reconciliation is required
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential
• Must demonstrate a high level of competence in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Sage Intacct accounting software is mandatory
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required
• Must demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically are necessary
• Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
