We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Workplace Experience (Concierge) in Toms River, New Jersey, United States. This role focuses on providing personal services to employees and guests, handling administrative support, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet all individuals entering the property and answer telephone inquiries in a professional manner
  • Process and maintain accurate records of service requests, ensuring thorough and prompt responses
  • Arrange and confirm recreational, dining, and business activities for employees and guests
  • Act as a point-of-contact for the facilities team as a representative of the Workplace Concierge team
  • Adhere to security and emergency procedures defined for the property, responding to emergency situations calmly and efficiently
  • Generate routine reports and correspondence, and respond to inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and other mobile technologies and applications to maintain efficient work processes
  • Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating empathy and offering help as needed
  • Supervise and maintain logs of service requests, tracking their status accurately
  • Handle shipping, cleaning, package, and mail room assistance tasks as needed. • Proven experience in a customer service role, with a strong ability to interact with customers in a professional manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Previous experience answering inbound calls and handling correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
  • Knowledge of concierge services, including making reservations, sending notifications, and maintaining records.
  • Experience with property and facility management is a plus.
  • Understanding of security measures and procedures, including maintaining logs and incident reporting.
  • Proficiency in using Zoom and Laptop Hardware for remote communication and problem-solving.
  • Ability to handle complaints and offer solutions in a calm and professional manner.
  • Experience in maintaining financial notes and handling shipping duties is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role is desirable.
  • Proficiency in language interpretation and storytelling is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Experience in Receptionist duties, including greeting guests, taking messages, and directing calls.
  • Must be onsite during agreed working hours.
  • Ability to multitask and handle tasks in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and contribute positively to the workplace experience.
