Accounting Manager

We are in search of an Accounting Manager to join our team in the construction/manufacturing industry, based in Savannah, Georgia. The Accounting Manager will be integral to the management of financial reporting, asset management, and inventory management, among other tasks.
This role is crucial in our efforts to ensure the financial health and transparency of our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-of-month management reporting
- Complete year-end book closing activities
- Manage product costing processes
- Analyze and report on warranty costs
- Control and report on project costs
- Oversee inventory management and reporting
- Monitor intercompany balances and perform necessary reconciliations
- Collaborate with external and internal auditors to ensure accurate auditing processes.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in SAP, SAP Business Intelligence, SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) Software, SAP Business Warehouse (BW), and SAP ERP
- Knowledge of financial Consolidations, Annual Financial Reporting, and External Financial Reports
- Familiarity with Hyperion Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Budgeting - Forecasting, and Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution Process (PPBE)
- Expertise in Cost Accounting and Manufacturing Cost Accounting
- Ability to Monitor Expenditures and effectively use Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, xlookup, and HLOOKUP
- Experience with Financial Modules, Power BI, and Macros
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
