We are offering a long term contract opportunity for an Administrative Assistant, based in the south metro, Minnesota, area. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be integral to the smooth operation of our team, handling a variety of tasks including the processing of invoices, creation of purchase orders, maintaining employee records, and providing customer service. Responsibilities:
- Managing the processing of invoices
- Creating and managing purchase orders
- Conducting regular reporting activities, including data extraction and entry, using tools such as SharePoint
- Maintaining and updating Excel spreadsheets for various purposes, including KPI tracking and employee rosters
- Offering administrative support to the director, which may include ad hoc projects to enhance the role
- Filing and maintaining documents
- Assisting with new employee paperwork
- Coordinating with transportation providers for late deliveries and delivery tracking
- Updating management weekly schedules
- Experience in an administrative role
- Proven ability in handling purchase orders is preferred
- Skilled in ad hoc reporting
- Familiarity with warehouse duties is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
- Experience in filing and maintaining files
- Strong customer service skills
