Industrial Electrician

A well established mechanical contractor in the Mercer County, NJ area is looking for a Journeyman electrician to join their team! Great chance to join an organization that has been in business for over 60 years!

Duties/Responsibilities: Install complete electrical raceways systems such as EMT, RMC, PVC, cable tray, troughs and more.

• Install wires and cables through electrical raceways.
• Install panelboards, switchboards, switchgears, MCC, and control panels.
• Install various forms of switching and receptacle outlet devices.
• Troubleshoot electrical and controls circuitry and devices up to 480VAC.
• Install various forms of luminaires.
• Ensure all electrical installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70).
• Install motors, transformers, and generators.
• Install communications, ethernet, and fiber optic lines.
• Install VFDs, PLC, control relays, power supplies, safety relays, proximity switches, and other

• Test electrical systems installation to ensure proper installation and operation.
• Connect electrical systems to utility power.
• Participate in continuous safety and electrical education.
• Travel to different job sites.
• Work overtime, nights, weekends and or holidays as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Ensures housekeeping conformance of jobsite, including trailers, trucks, laydown, and waste storage

• Develops and maintains their own technical competence.
• Completes other tasks as assigned by Service Rep or Foreman.
