Context:
We’re looking for a new Business Development Manager in our Operations Team to help drive the objectives and challenges our valued clients have trusted us to solve for them.
As a SYSTRA US Business Development Manager you will join a world-class team of high-performing engineers, designers, drafters and others who work collectively to ensure client projects continue to thrive while remaining on track and budget.
Missions/Main Duties:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively participates in weekly Go/No Go to select opportunities to pursue and identifies winning strategies
- Actively identifies and positions SYSTRA accordingly for upcoming potential opportunities, defines teaming strategies and lead key client management plans in collaboration with COO, Marketing and Sector Leads
- Assist in building a positive image for SYSTRA by developing and managing good client relations for both existing and new clients in the public transportation and the rail industries
- Actively participate in writing and reviewing proposals with Marketing and Capture Managers and assists with cost proposals
- Assist Chief Operating Officer in managing SYSTRA USA commercial pipeline, weekly and monthly reports, monthly and quarterly reviews
- Share business intelligence and resources with other executive and senior staff to facilitate new project and market development nationwide
- Actively pursues industry-based speaking engagements based on projects and/or discipline expertise to advance the SYSTRA brand

Profile/Skills:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in disciplines relevant to SYSTRA services offering
- 15 years of relevant experience in rail engineering design and project management
- Demonstrable successful experience with SYSTRA key public clients in Northeast and Midwest (NY MTA, PANYNJ, NJT, SEPTA, ConnDOT, AMTRAK, CTA, WMATA, others) and key national and regional contractors (Skanska, Halmar, Kiewit, Dragados, etc.)
- Positive and successful experience with a variety of project delivery types and working environments
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally to all SYSTRA, partner, and client office locations, including project offices, if applicable

Salary Range: $191,242-240,121, SYSTRA USA is providing the compensation range that the company believes it might pay and/or offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
