Cindy Bradley is actively recruiting for this Services industry client! Immediate interviews! We are currently seeking a driven and extensively skilled individual for a Senior Internal Auditor role. The chosen candidate will function under the direction of the Audit Manager and will be backed by the Director of Audit, contributing to our audit team with suggestions for improved controls and efficient business processes.
An ideal candidate should possess considerable understanding of financial reporting, controls, risk analysis and quantitative and qualitative techniques to understand our company's operating, financial, and accounting systems. Key Responsibilities: Uphold the integrity of financial operations, securing company assets, and evaluate the operational efficiency of our company's accounting controls.
Plan and implement various audit engagements, including operational reviews, financial and compliance audits and business process assessments. Identify audit deviations, internal control weaknesses, inefficient practices and procedures, and suggest innovative and effective rectification measures.
Conduct preliminary discussions with operating personnel to verify and comprehend reasons for each identified discrepancy. Analyze findings, prepare comprehensive audit reports and work papers, and create schedules and summaries by applying detail oriented accounting and audit principles.
Coordinate and communicate audit actions and findings within our company and to the Audit Manager. Direct lower level auditors and audit team, as needed. Assist with special projects and external audits, as necessary. Participate in or support project and process improvement teams if required.
Qualification Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance 3-5 years of auditing experience, public accounting audit experience preferred Certification as a Public Accountant (CPA) or Internal Auditor (CIA) is an advantage Travel Requirements: Frequent travel is required for this position (up to 20% of the time and on a domestic basis).
