Job Description:Marvin Love and Associates is seeking an experienced and motivated Executive Housekeeper to manage the housekeeping operations of a premier mountain lodge in Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel management and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
A historic resort nestled on 5,500 acres in the Mountains of Pennsylvania. This Dutch Colonial-style lodge offers a blend of luxury accommodations, diverse dining experiences, and a wide array of recreational activities suitable for all ages.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the housekeeping team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and service throughout the lodge.
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory and ordering of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Train, coach, and evaluate housekeeping staff, promoting a positive work environment.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints related to housekeeping in a timely and courteous manner.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Prepare reports on housekeeping operations, budgets, and staff performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by hotel management.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a housekeeping management role, preferably in a luxury hotel or lodge.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in hotel management software and housekeeping management tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to guest service excellence and team development.
