Senior Financial Analyst
Milani Cosmetics is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join the growing finance team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting financial forecasting, business planning, management reporting, and business analytics activities in addition to ad hoc financial analysis.
Position Mission:
It is the mission of the Senior Financial Analyst to provide analytical support and leadership to the finance team and business stakeholders to support the planning and reporting processes. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role with building a financial foundation for a growing company.The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, analytical, collaborative, and demonstrate a strong attention to detail and strong work ethic.
This is a hybrid role, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays are all-staff days required in the Culver City office.
Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical support and leadership to the finance team to create and consolidate regular management planning and reporting packages including consolidated monthly financial reports, forecasts, and annual budgets.
- Create, maintain, and execute financial models and reporting on a regular basis that are highly accurate and timely.
- Lead the execution of the consolidation and presentation of historical and strategic financial data including variance commentary analysis.
- Be the leader of the consolidation of the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes, including cross-functional collaboration, uploading and maintaining the plans in the financial system, and creating reports and presentations to communicate the forecasts to the organization.
- Be the subject matter expert for the financial reporting database system including uploading and maintaining financial plans and forecasts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to consolidate and report on financial plans.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis regarding business financial performance and profitability.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 3-5 years of financial analysis experience
- Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- System savvy with strong database or ERP experience including extracting data from a database for use in financial analysis and uploading financial plans into the system
- Knowledge of a Profit & Loss statement and its relationship to the balance sheet
- Intermediate proficiency in financial modeling preparation and analysis
- Robust attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent analytical, team-building, and communication skills with an ability to interact with all levels of the organization in a confident and professional manner

Compensation
The base salary range represents the low and high end of Milani’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to location, education, skills, experience. The annual base salary range for this role is $105,000 to $125,000.
