Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA-24-15054

Schedule: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, holiday requirements apply

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Responsibilities include maintaining a safe patient environment and ensuring patient comfort and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hygiene and comfort care (bathing, toileting, oral hygiene, etc.).
• Take and document vital signs.
• Perform glucose finger sticks and collect specimens.
• Document daily patient weights and monitor intake and output.
• Respond to patient calls and communicate changes in condition to the RN.
• Maintain a clean and safe nursing unit and patient room.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications:
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or nursing student enrolled in a BSN program.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA).

Experience:

• 2-3 years of experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) preferred.
