Summer Intern - Data Management

Role Overview & Key Functions::

Our summer intern program, which will run from May 27th – Aug 8th, allows students to gain real world work experience in a high energy, collaborative work culture.

This role will work under the guidance of our Data Management Leadership Team as the Intern learns how to manage a variety of Data Management tasks that support the day-to-day operation of a Clinical Trial.

• The Data Management Intern will be responsible for supporting the Data Management team on a variety of activities with an emphasis on supporting high priority deliverables.
• Project work will include clinical trial data review, local laboratory management, document management, and access review.
• This role will require working collaboratively across multiple functional areas to help successfully manage assigned responsibilities and ensure the successful completion of these tasks.
• This role will have the opportunity to participate in Data Management and cross-functional meetings and discussions; giving the Intern the opportunity to both learn and contribute to the success of clinical trials.
• Receive guidance and experience from an experienced Data Management Leadership Team to help build the foundation of a Data Management career grounded in Good Clinical Data Management Practices.

Candidate Profile & Requirements::

• Bachelor’s Degree or currently enrolled in a degree program in the Sciences or Scientific/Health Care.
• Interest in Clinical Research and Clinical Trial Processes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• You have a strong interest in life sciences and are passionate about giving patients with cancer a chance to enjoy more of life’s precious moments.
