Shipping and Logistics Coordinator
General Summary & Scope- Act as the key contact for contracted carriers, the client’s retail stores, and distribution centers.
- Conduct daily tracking and tracing of carrier shipments.
- Proactively follow up to ensure service expectations are met.
- Communicate potential service failures to relevant parties (i.e., supervisor, carrier, store).
- Coordinate with stores to ensure timely specialized deliveries.
- If required, tender outbound loads to contracted carriers through TMS (E2Open).
- Create and analyze a variety of reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Audit carrier schedules and delivery timelines for accuracy.
- Address customer service hotline inquiries and provide troubleshooting support.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
