Food Service Worker | Dietary General | Variable Shift

Overview:

Responsibilities:

1. Maintains open communication with all staff
2. Demonstrates proper food handling
3. Properly secures cash
4. Consistently records temperatures of all foods
5. Maintain cleanliness of work area
6. Completes assigned work as scheduled in allotted time frame.
7. Engages in departmental/hospital committees, PI projects, educational offerings to peers, mentoring/precepting of new team members.
8. Attends Staff Meetings, completes all required competencies and mandatory education as assigned.
9. Seeks training, educational, certification and enhancement in area focus/specialty.
10. Demonstrates behavior standards that enhance positive interactions with physicians, peers, patients and family members.
11. Completes other duties as requested/assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
