- Position: Material Handler. Reports to the Logistics Manager.
- Receives materials and supplies by verifying PO information on ERP - PO number, QTY, etc.
- Documents materials receipts and put away to the appropriate storage location.
- Locate material(s) by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Deliver production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution.
- Locate and pack materials for shipping.
- Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
- Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
- Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in
- stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
- Operates forklifts (certified a plus), pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
- Maintain warehouse operation area clean and orderly.
- Learn and adhere to workplace safety regulations.
