Responsibilities- Supervise and evaluate the performance of a team of 45 employees.
- Order materials and manage raw material inventory.
- Oversee production flow and ensure adherence to in-house specifications.
- Read and interpret production reports and schedule production plans.
- Review product drawings and specifications to plan production processes.
- Monitor and address human capital needs for efficient department operation.
- Supervise machinery operation and report issues to the Maintenance Department or Plant Manager.
- Meet production volume, tooling cost, and quality targets through resource optimization.
- Identify and implement solutions to reduce production cycle times and improve setup efficiency.
- Coordinate with Quality Control, tooling, safety, and other production departments to achieve goals.
- Lead and organize scheduling, job prioritization, and resource allocation.
- Enforce safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies.
- Inspect Bill of Materials and Job Orders for completeness.
- Provide training, guidance, and feedback to the production team.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and update procedures as needed.
