• Supervise and evaluate the performance of a team of 45 employees.
• Order materials and manage raw material inventory.
• Oversee production flow and ensure adherence to in-house specifications.
• Read and interpret production reports and schedule production plans.
• Review product drawings and specifications to plan production processes.
• Monitor and address human capital needs for efficient department operation.
• Supervise machinery operation and report issues to the Maintenance Department or Plant Manager.
• Meet production volume, tooling cost, and quality targets through resource optimization.
• Identify and implement solutions to reduce production cycle times and improve setup efficiency.
• Coordinate with Quality Control, tooling, safety, and other production departments to achieve goals.
• Lead and organize scheduling, job prioritization, and resource allocation.
• Enforce safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies.
• Inspect Bill of Materials and Job Orders for completeness.
• Provide training, guidance, and feedback to the production team.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and update procedures as needed.
