Test Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures the successful and timely completion of all exam assignments and projects.
• Troubleshoot exam problems and provide support to Clients and Client Services on technical issues.
• Facilitates the consideration and research of alternative technical solutions by bringing together the appropriate people to discuss options, risks and costs.
• Where necessary, serves as a point person for project issues and resolves them escalating larger issues as necessary.
• Verify functionality of tests; design testing strategies for complex delivery or scoring methods. Maintain meticulous control of test source code and revision histories.
• Assure accuracy and quality of exam deliverables.
• Create and maintain positive internal and external client relations

AUTHORITIES:

• Contribute to positive work environment & backup each other to ensure continued support
• Communicate proactively and report timely on all assigned work items, give status of each deliverable proactively without any delay
• Deliver work requests with minimum hand holding approach and within agreed effort estimates and schedule.
• Maintain planning and prioritizing the assigned tasks/work requests based on criticality.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be Bachelor’s/Master's degree holder in Computer Science
• Minimum 2+ Years of experience in publishing or content
• Good analytical skills
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Expertise in Microsoft Office – MS-Word, Excel and ability to create macros
• Working experience with the following: HTML, XML would be preferred
• Strong at assessing requirements of new projects
• Skilled with troubleshooting technical problems
• Ability to work independently and in varying team structures. Works with minimal supervision
• Capable of handling a variety of complex tasks simultaneously
• Excellent grammatical and text editing skills
• Must have positive "can do" attitude and be able to think "out of the box"
