About Our Client

My client is a full-service Multifamily Development, Construction, and Management team based in Indianapolis, Indiana. There team works in unison to entitle, develop, build, and manage multifamily apartment projects across the country. The client has completed over 50 projects across 17 different states.

Job Description
  • Manage all phases of commercial construction projects in Indianapolis, from initiation to closeout, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to define project scope, objectives, and requirements
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against key milestones
  • Procure necessary materials, equipment, and resources, and manage subcontractor relationships effectively
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor work progress, safety, and quality compliance, and address any issues or concerns
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, resolve conflicts, and manage change orders
  • Maintain clear and open communication with project team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports as required
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle
  • Prepare and submit project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and closeout documents, in a timely manner

The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in Construction, experience managing multiple projects at a time
  • Multifamily project experience
  • Working knowledge of skilled trades including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical.
  • Working knowledge of commercial construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings
  • Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
