Staff Accountant - Revenue
Refunds should be recorded timely to the respective restaurant P&L’s. Opportunities identified to minimize lost recovery to Darden should be communicated timely to direct supervisor.

Responsibilities- Process first party delivery refunds and disputes in a timely manner to minimize the financial impact to Darden
- Work with various internal departments and external parties to address refund and dispute issues
- Prepare journal entries and ensure financial transactions are recorded properly; assist with reconciling payments as requested
- Prepare account reconciliations including the first party delivery receivable account; research and resolve variances
- Provide prompt assistance and resolution on first party delivery payment and refund questions and communicate with the restaurants and team members
- Monitor and report on results produced by the delivery refund automation process
- Assist with audit requests and communicate effectively with internal and external auditors
- Work with management to ensure an adequate control environment over systems and processes
- Research information needed to support ad hoc requests / special projects
-Cross-train with team members to provide better coverage during absences or peak periods
