Full-time Physical Therapist

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our skilled nursing facility. We are committed to providing patient-centered, high-quality care in a compassionate and equitable manner, while delivering a best-in-class work experience to every member of the team.

Salary: $85,000-$95,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (Flexible)
Insurance Mix: Medicare & Major Medical Commercial Insurances

Patient Volume: 8-10 patients a day

Types of Patients: Senior citizens/Geriatric Patients

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and understand the specific goals and requirements of each patient within the skilled nursing environment to create personalized care plans.
  • Efficiently handle a caseload of patients, typically managing one patient per hour while ensuring high-quality care.
  • Provide cost-effective treatment modalities that enhance patients' motion and mobility, tailored to their individual needs and conditions.
  • Collaborate and consult with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Regularly assess the effects of treatments, tracking patient progress, and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and daily notes to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current New Jersey state license as Physical Therapist.
  • Utilize at least two (2) years of clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility to effectively assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse range of patient conditions, ensuring high standards of care.
  • Strong manual therapy skills and training.
  • Apply knowledge gained from clinical experience to modify and adapt therapeutic interventions based on individual patient needs, response to treatment, and changing conditions.
  • Familiarity with EMR Software (e.g., WebPT).
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
