We are seeking a Physical Therapist to serve our pediatric population, adult population, or both!
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and a comprehensive understanding of medical terminology, orthopedics, and physiology. This role involves working with patients in various settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, and home health environments.
The Physical Therapist will be responsible for developing individualized treatment plans to enhance patient recovery and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Utilize various therapeutic techniques to promote rehabilitation and recovery.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and home care strategies.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively.
  • Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care post-treatment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes.
  • Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, orthopedics, physiology, and systems related to patient care.
  • Experience in home health, outpatient, inpatient settings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with discharge planning processes and home community care practices is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Pay: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week
