Digital Publishing Specialist - Remote

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Digital Publishing Specialist. This role focuses on content publishing and development on our websites and also contributes to special projects as needed. The position is entirely remote, making it suitable for candidates anywhere, though we are based in Nashville, Tennessee.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the accurate and timely publishing of website content using a centralized content management system.
  • Determine the best content publishing solution based on established guidelines, best practices, and details provided by internal customers.
  • Uphold web content and publishing best practices, style guide standards, brand standards, and legal requirements to assure quality and accuracy.
  • Ensure that all publishing activities follow digital accessibility best practices and WCAG 2.0 guidelines.
  • Collaborate with development managers to create and migrate content for project launches.
  • Perform user acceptance testing for new websites, enhancements to content management systems, and general maintenance.
  • Audit websites for adherence to established standards, publishing processes, accuracy, and compliance issues.
  • Manage publishing requests through our ticketing system to ensure service levels are met.
  • Direct unresolved content issues to the next level of support and record events, problems, and their resolution in ticketing system documentation.
  • Provide clients with regular updates on ticket status and communicate daily with internal and external teams, clients, and vendors regarding project tasks and tickets.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to clients and stakeholders. • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, HTML, CSS, and Web App
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with stakeholders
  • Ability to create and manage documentation, ensuring quality and compliance
  • Experience with auditing and understanding of best practices
  • Knowledge of medical coverage and ability to liaise with vendors
  • Ability to travel as required for the role
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with workstation support and ability to lead special projects
  • Familiarity with migration processes
  • Experience with the software 'About Time'
  • Ability to conduct training sessions for team members and stakeholders
  • Knowledge and understanding of website management
  • Ability to perform compliance functions effectively.
