We are currently hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for support in our plant operations in Reading, PA. This is a full time, direct hire role that will be responsible for supporting plant operations and maintaining plant equipment. Job Details:

• Duties include supporting plant operations to deliver high quality products at the lowest cost through a proactive approach to maintain plant equipment.
• Record all maintenance and repairs and keep track of materials
• Dismantle and assemble equipment
• Test, observe, inspect and maintain industrial equipment.
• A significant amount of time will be spent in a production environment
• Requires the ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Driving of cars, trucks, forklifts or other equipment may be needed
• Working at heights, climbing ladders and stairs required

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully the individual must have the following or equivalent:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must have effective written and verbal communication skills in English
• Must be a good problem solver, a good listener, and be hands on
• Be able to prioritize multiple issues
• Extrusion, plastics or recycling experience a plus

Pay Details: $32.00 to $40.00 per hour
