Job Description
The Superintendent - Interior Renovations/Higher Ed - Baltimore, MD will be responsible for:
- Overseeing on-site operations and managing subcontractor activities.
- Ensuring quality control by confirming all work meets specifications, codes, and industry standards.
- Implementing and enforcing safety protocols to comply with regulations and foster a safe work environment.
- Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders, addressing concerns, and providing regular progress updates.
- Managing materials and equipment by monitoring inventory levels and ensuring the availability of necessary tools and
- supplies.
- Documenting completed tasks and tracking budgets to ensure accountability.
- Supervising the commissioning process, including system testing, troubleshooting, and handover, to ensure proper functionality

The Successful Applicant
The Superintendent - Interior Renovations/Higher Ed - Baltimore, MD will have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, particularly in interior renovation or higher education/K-12 projects.
- In-depth knowledge of interior construction systems, relevant codes, and industry standards.
- Required certifications include OSHA and First Aid/CPR.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Proven ability to quickly identify problems and implement effective solutions.
- Experience in scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating large-scale construction projects is necessary
