Data Entry Keyer

You’ll also verify data accuracy by cross-referencing it with the original sources and correcting any discrepancies.

The ideal applicant will possess strong written and verbal communication skills. They should be self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal oversight, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to perform effectively under pressure are essential for this position.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Inputting data into databases and spreadsheets using details from checks, reports, and bills.
• Organize and manage data to ensure it is always easily accessible.
• Cross-check entered data with original documents to spot and correct errors.
• Confirm data accuracy by matching it with the corresponding source material.
• Examine data for discrepancies or mistakes, fix inconsistencies where possible, and review the final output.
• Gather additional information to complete incomplete documents.
• Generate reports, save finished work in assigned locations, and conduct backup processes.
• Scan documents and print files as necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information.

• Demonstrated experience as a Data Entry Keyer or in a comparable role
• Knowledge of general administrative tasks
• Proficient in using office equipment like printers and scanners
• Strong typing skills with speed and accuracy
• Solid understanding of proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation
• Keen attention to detail
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality
• High school diploma; additional certifications or computer training is advantageous
