Primary Purpose
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Technical Product Owner to play a pivotal role in the development and evolution of our unified clinical data platform that support our AI driven innovations in trial design, clinical data management, and analyses.You will be working with a cross-functional team and bridge the gap between the data consumers and the technical team of data engineers and data scientists developing the data layer and AI models.
Responsibilities:
- Define the technical requirements for the clinical data platform, aligning with the company's broader goals in the eClinical space
- Manage the full product lifecycle, from ideation through release, working in an Agile environment to prioritize features and improvements based on stakeholder input and team capacity.
- Define product requirements and acceptance criteria for new features, enhancements, and data integration points, ensuring the platform supports seamless data collection, management and reporting
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of the platform, optimize, and identify new opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Drive engineering teams working on platform infrastructure, scalable storage, microservices, APIs, and real time and batch data processing pipelines
- Ensure low-latency data access, real-time inference, and efficient data management to power AI models
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in computer science, technology, engineering or related discipline.
- Strong understanding of agile methodology, software development processes and technology stacks
- Experience with integration of large datasets, databases, ETL processes, APIs, data modeling and querying techniques, data pipeline creation and management
- Experience with data governance standards and approaches
- Working knowledge of key concepts related to software product management
- Experience working in a Scrum team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and detail oriented.
- Experience working in clinical research or the healthcare domain is preferred.
- Experience with AWS Serices like RedShift, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, and HealthLake.
