This role will also involve regular travel to our subsidiary plant in Savannah, GA.

• Oversee the accounting function for the manufacturing subsidiary, ensuring precision and efficiency.
• Handle cost accounting tasks with a specific focus on the manufacturing environment.
• Oversee payroll operations, ensuring all payroll processes are carried out accurately and on time.
• Take responsibility for credit approvals, ensuring all credit decisions are made prudently and in line with company policy.
• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and complete.
• Provide support for both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations.
• Handle collections tasks, working to recover any overdue payments.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of all customer credit applications.
• Regularly travel to the subsidiary plant in Savannah, GA, to ensure alignment between headquarters and plant operations. • Demonstrable proficiency in Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Annual Budget preparation and management
• Proficiency in Auditing practices and procedures
• Experience in Budget Processes, including planning and execution
• Strong understanding of Cost Accounting
• Prior experience in Manufacturing Cost Accounting
• Knowledge of the Chemicals industry
• Experience in Credit Approvals and management
• Familiarity with Collections processes and best practices
• Understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) management
• Knowledge of Cost - Standard practices
• Familiarity with Overhead Rates calculation and analysis
• Proficiency in Inventory Accounting
• Experience in Inventory Analysis.
