VP/Director of Finance

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a VP/Director of Finance at an international non-profit in the greater Washington, DC area.
Responsibilities:
- Take lead on the annual budget processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct regular auditing procedures to maintain financial integrity.
- Oversee all accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable.
- Utilize Business Central 365 for financial operations and record-keeping.
- Manage month-end close processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and updated.
- Handle financial aspects of federal government contracts, ensuring compliance with all regulations and guidelines.
- Prior experience in a non-profit organization at a senior level
- Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
- Ability to prepare and manage an Annual Budget
- Expertise in Auditing procedures and compliance
- Familiarity with Budget Processes and financial forecasting
- Proficiency in using Business Central 365
- Experience in Month End Close procedures
- Knowledge of Federal Government Contracts and associated regulations
