International Registered Nurse - IRN24-14513

Shifts per Week: 3 shifts (36 hours per week)

Job Summary:

• The International Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive and specialized nursing care to patients in a hospital setting. The RN will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care, implementing care plans, administering medications, and monitoring patient progress. The role requires flexibility to adapt to variable shift patterns, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Provides direct patient care based on comprehensive assessments, following care plans and physician orders.
• Administers medications, performs treatments, and manages nursing interventions as required.
• Monitors patient conditions and reports any changes or concerns to the healthcare team promptly.
• Ensures patient comfort and safety, addressing their needs throughout the shift.
• Performs and documents patient assessments, vital signs, and changes in patient status.
• Collaborates with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
• Participates in interdisciplinary rounds to ensure continuity of care and effective communication among team members.

Education and Certifications Required:

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.

Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting (required).
• Experience in medical-surgical, telemetry, or critical care units preferred.
• International nurses must have experience that aligns with U.S. healthcare standards.
