Inpatient Pharmacy Tech
Responsibilities:
The pharmacy technician under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmacy services to special populations including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, and young adults. The pharmacy technician assists in all pharmacy operations functions in compliance with department and hospital policies and procedures, to provide optimal pharmaceutical care.The pharmacy technician under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist is responsible for the preparation, dispensing, distribution, and delivery of medications including non-sterile products and sterile products.

- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required upon hire or within the first 6 months of employment
