Responsibilities:
- Work from electronic diagrams, blueprints, schematics, job tickets, work request, written and/or verbal instructions.
- Troubleshoot equipment and repair all electrical and electronic breakdowns.
- Install, replace and repair microprocessors, replace programmable controllers, solid state controls, temperature controls, motors, gauges, and control panels.
- Replace brushes and bearings for motors, tachometers and generators.
- Troubleshoot and program control programs as required.
- Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment.
- Assist in identifying and solving machine problems.
- Use electrical and electronic test equipment including but not limited to oscilloscopes, voltmeter, ammeters, meggers, digital meters, calibration apparatus, and laptop computers.
- Assist in the construction and installation of new equipment.
- Follow all GMP, safety and company rules and regulations.
- Maintain necessary records.
- Perform safety checks on equipment.
- Assistant other maintenance crews.
- Move materials as necessary.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Perform other duties as required or directed.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in applied science or other technical degree preferred, or 3 + years in Industrial Maintenance
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Must have excellent attendance
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Must be able to work overtime as required
- Must be able to perform all duties in a safe and effective manner.
- Ability to read and write.
