We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in the restaurant and catering industry based in Columbus, Ohio. You will be part of a dynamic team and your role will involve acting as a liaison between various teams, facilitating discussions, and driving change.

This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate communication between multiple teams to improve restaurant opening processes.
  • Handle customer service tasks such as answering inbound calls and email correspondence.
  • Perform administrative duties such as data entry, scheduling appointments and maintaining records.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) for various tasks.
  • Assist in project management within the restaurant/retail/construction industry.
  • Understand and manage inter-related processes for new restaurant development and strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in vendor management and purchasing procurement tasks.
  • Utilize Business Information Tools (BI) and lifecycle systems for efficient execution.
  • Actively drive change through collaboration and linkage of complex processes and related data.
  • Cultivate influence through strong partnership skills and clear communication. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
  • Experience with answering inbound and outbound calls
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to handle customer inquiries professionally
  • Proven ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively
  • Knowledge and experience in data entry and email correspondence
  • Experience in administrative assistance and vendor management
  • Ability to handle purchasing procurement tasks efficiently
  • Proven project management skills, preferably in commercial construction projects or commercial real estate
  • Ability to manage tasks independently and prioritize work effectively
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a high level of accuracy in all tasks
  • Proactive, with a strong desire to learn and grow in the role
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Professional and positive attitude towards work and colleagues.
