HR/PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR

Anna Parson at Robert Half is seeking a detail oriented standalone HR/Payroll Administrator to join a services client in the Garden City, NY area. As the HR/Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for full cycle HR, Payroll and Benefits in a small company environment.

As the HR/Payroll Administrator, you will:

  • Lead full cycle HR, HR compliance and Benefits efforts and identify improvements in policies and procedures
  • Oversee the multistate bi-monthly payroll operations to ensure all payments are made accurately and on time
  • Use ADP Workforce Now to facilitate the payroll process
  • Ensure payroll compliance with all relevant laws and internal policies
  • Administer employee benefits and ensure they are correctly processed in payroll
  • Handle timecards, ensuring all hours worked are accurately recorded and paid
  • Reconcile payroll data and rectify any discrepancies
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks, maintaining accurate financial records for the organization
  • Lead HR compliance and update the employee handbook

Seeking an HR/Payroll Administrator with full cycle HR, Benefits and Payroll administration that has some exposure to bookkeeping.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a HR/Payroll Administrator or in a related role.
  • Proficiency in ADP - Payroll software is required.
  • Experience in bi-Monthly Payroll processing is essential.
  • Experience in a standalone, full cycle HR and Benefits role
  • Demonstrable ability to process payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Experience in reconciling payroll discrepancies and ensuring payroll accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Benefits Administration, including health insurance and retirement plans.
  • Familiarity with Time Cards management for accurate employee work hours tracking.
  • Bookkeeping skills and experience are essential for maintaining financial records and transactions.
