Maintenance Mechanic
The Maintenance Worker will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems.
Responsibilities- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on material handling equipment, process equipment, and building systems.
- Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs and perform emergency maintenance or escalate issues.
- Perform project related tasks including assembly and installation of workstations, safety equipment, and warehouse racking.
- Perform interior and exterior building and grounds maintenance including lawn care and snow removal along with general repairs to assist with upkeep of facility (i.e., painting, housekeeping)
- Utilize work order system (EMaint) to track and document status of work orders
- Follow end of day closing procedures to secure building
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of related maintenance experience
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs, operate a forklift and use hand tools and other related equipment
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and adhere to safe work practices
- Proficient with MS Office
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System(CMMS), preferred
Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
