A prominent healthcare employer with offices in the suburbs of Orlando is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner for a North Region office. This exciting opportunity involves providing outpatient care in the field of cardiology.
While fluency in Spanish is considered a significant advantage, it is not a mandatory requirement.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with a supervising physician to deliver efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality outpatient care.
- Perform a variety of tasks traditionally carried out by physicians to diagnose and treat patient conditions.
- Adhere to established regulations and guidelines that define the scope of practice for nurse practitioners.
- Act as an extension of the physician, ensuring exceptional patient care and attention.
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills:
- Valid registration with the Medical Licensing Board of Florida.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Nurse Practitioners.
- Up-to-date CPR certification.
- Proficient knowledge and practical skills for patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Strong ability to educate and counsel patients and their families on medications, diseases, treatment plans, procedures, and preventive healthcare.
- Completion of a master's degree or higher from an accredited School of Nurse Practitioner training program.
