Patient Account Representative

A Hospital in Arcadia is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Account Representative to join the team. This Patient Account Representative should have in experience with EOBs, medical insurance and capable of communication with various levels within the hospital medical team and with insurance companies.

Responsibilities:

• Review rejections and insurance denials
• Ensure all insurance information is accurate and entered correctly into the system.
• Review and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB) documentation, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
• Resolve insurance claim rejections, filing appeals when necessary.
• Conduct insurance collections, frequently communicating with insurance companies to ensure claim payment.
• Manage patient billing enquiries, providing clear and accurate information.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other hospital staff to maintain patient account accuracy.
