Manufacturing Welder
North America’s premier manufacturer and up-fitter of work truck attachments and equipment is hiring for a Welder for their Long Island Facility. Open to candidates who have minimum of 2-3 years of hands on experience.
1st shift- 6:00am-4:30pm $25-35 an hour ( flexibility based on experience- can increase) Medical benefits, 401K, paid vacation!
salary: $25 - $35 per hourshift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities- Previous experience in fabrication and welding within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Mig, Tig and Stick welding of Steel, Stainless Steel and Sheet metal and Aluminum
- Machine operations, to include: sheers, brakes and shaping machines
- Ability to Weld various sizes
- Will prep and stage their own material and parts
- Ability to read blueprint diagrams
- Effectively operate a MIG welding unit and equipment.
- Identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair to ensure compliance with applicable codes, law, working practices and health and safety.
- Inspect work and fill/repair as necessary.
- Assemble component parts using appropriate hand/small power tools.
- Clean and maintain all equipment and tools and maintain a clean working area.
