Responsibilities:
Performs and interprets laboratory tests in the Clinical Laboratory for the diagnosis and care of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED- Associates degree in a laboratory science (chemical or biological science) or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution OR Graduate of a Military Program in Science (health science, biology, chemical, physical, medical technology) and certification as a Medical Lab Technician. Ability to implement and perform clinical laboratory procedures according to proper standards and regulations.
- Must submit to a Color-Acuity screening Test
- Applicants must have completed (or be eligible for) an appropriate certification examination
- Acceptable certifying agencies include: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW)
- Experience in a Clinical Laboratory setting
Work Hours:: 6PM-6:30AM
Weekend Requirements:: Yes- Rotating Basis
