RN, Clinical Manager - Abdominal Transplant (TMC)
Position Summary:**
The Abdominal Transplant Center is in search of a highly qualified Clinical Transplant Manager to oversee daily operations, staff development, and the provision of high-quality patient care.
This position requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and elevate care standards.
The manager will be responsible for supervising approximately 60 employees, guiding them through a significant transformative phase as the unit prepares to reopen and strengthen its program.
**Work Hours:** Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM *

**Key Responsibilities:**- Oversee daily operations, encompassing staffing and scheduling, and serve as the charge nurse when necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, management, and business partners to achieve strategic objectives and improve patient care standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Texas Board of Nursing standards.
- Lead initiatives aimed at process improvement, evaluating programs to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Recruit, retain, and develop departmental staff; provide constructive feedback and conduct performance evaluations.
- Model compassionate, patient-centered care while upholding organizational standards for safe, efficient, and effective care.
**Minimum Qualifications:** **
Education:**- A Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited institution is required. For Magnet-designated hospitals, a BSN is a prerequisite for hire or promotion.
- A current Texas RN license or a temporary/compact license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Professional certification in a clinical or management discipline is preferred.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience is necessary; additional management experience is preferred.
- Ability to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and drive improvements in patient-centered care.
- Proficiency in regulatory standards and quality management with respect to patient safety.
