Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OBGYN) to join our esteemed medical team in La Jolla, CA. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive healthcare services to women, focusing on reproductive health, pregnancy, childbirth, and disorders of the reproductive system.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Conduct routine check-ups, prenatal care, and gynecological exams.

Diagnose and treat illnesses, infections, and diseases of the female reproductive system.
Monitor the health of pregnant patients and provide prenatal care.
Manage labor and delivery processes, including performing Cesarean sections when necessary.
Offer family planning and contraceptive counseling.

Address menopause-related health concerns and provide treatment.

Surgical Procedures

Perform surgical procedures related to reproductive health, including hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and other minimally invasive surgeries.

Patient Education: Educate patients on health, wellness, and disease prevention.

Provide information on proper diet, hygiene, and other aspects of preventative healthcare.

Collaboration: Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, midwives, and other specialists.

Collaborate with other medical professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Adhere to medical policies, protocols, and ethical standards.

Participate in continuous professional development and stay updated with the latest medical research and techniques.

Qualifications: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.

Completed residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Valid medical license to practice in the state of California.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a clinical setting in La Jolla or similar communities.

Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish) are a plus.
