Our client company is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join their team. This is an opportunity to stand out in a crowd and not be isolated to a single product or lane. You will have enterprise exposure and the ability to directly impact strategic decisions and execution of those decisions.
You will use your artificial intelligence, machine learning, advanced analytics, and statistical analysis skills to develop data-driven solutions that promote corporate initiatives. You'll build and analyze models that forecast the best course of action to influence business outcomes.You'll also collaborate with business partners to develop technical problem statements, conceive efficient and precise analytical models, and integrate them into analytical data products or tools with a cross-functional team's support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage company data within a Center of Excellence (COE) model to support business decisions.
- Provide subject matter expertise in advanced analytics across multiple techniques.
- Lead, implement, and analyze complex data-related analytical projects that impact business decisions and efficiencies.
- Develop efficient, reusable, and scalable models that are incorporated into analytic data products.
- Collaborate with business partners to devise novel ways to reach objectives using data, cutting-edge techniques, and tools.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, or a graduate degree in a quantitative discipline, along with five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated Data Science skills set.
- Strong experience with writing advanced SQL queries, data analysis, data tools, prototyping, deploying, and maintaining production models.
- Experience using statistical computer languages such as Python/R.
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, H20.ai, Cloud AI platforms, containerization.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively present information to stakeholders.
