We are seeking a Sr. Software Developer to join our team in FORT WASHINGTON, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating new features and enhancements for our applications, with a focus on scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
You will have a significant impact on the software development lifecycle, designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software while adhering to best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of our products and services, consistently adhering to our coding standards and following the company's software development methodology and release processes.
- Foster a healthy communication, collaboration, and accountability environment in a remote setting.
- Write clean, efficient code and participate in peer code reviews, utilizing technologies like Microsoft C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript (Angular, ReactJS, TypeScript, NodeJS), AJAX/jQuery, and related technologies.
- Play a key role in the design, implementation, enhancement, and integration of relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Work collaboratively using Agile methodologies to solve complex problems and improve products.
- Maintain open communication across Development, QA, Operations, and other cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to development objectives and take accountability for the contributions of the development team.
- Estimate and track work and deliver on team commitments while effectively reporting on progress or impediments.
- Create and update documents for technical designs, decisions, configurations, and standards.
- Actively pursue continuous learning to stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices. • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development
- Proficient in Atlassian Jira
- Experience in Backend Development is necessary
- Familiarity with Bug Tracking tools and techniques
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in C++ programming language
- Proficient in using GitHub for version control
- Experience in AB Testing is required
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology
- Experience in Ajax programming
- Proficient in API Development
- Knowledge and experience in ASP.NET is a must
