Part-time Billing Coordinator

This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

• Manage the generation of invoices reflecting hours worked by attorneys
• Communicate with clients regarding payments and handle collections calls on unpaid invoices
• Maintain and update transaction records in a systematic manner
• Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to billing
• Use accounting software systems for efficient handling of accounts payable and receivable
• Respond to customer inquiries, providing excellent service
• Utilize MS Office and EHR System for managing and tracking billing activities
• Ensure legal billing procedures are followed accurately
• Handle a variety of different tasks as requested, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
• Carry out accounting functions and manage computerized billing efficiently.
• 1+ years of experience in Billing and/or Accounts Receivables
• Ability to work part-time hours, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 9:00am-5:00pm (22.5 hrs./week), with the option for some additional hours during month end.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with Computerized Billing systems highly preferred
• Experience with EHR SYSTEM
• Proficient in Accounting Functions
• Ability to answer inbound calls professionally
• Experience in Collections Management preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office required
• Familiarity with Legal Billing procedures a huge plus
