Rockwall County Volkswagen is seeking an experienced and results-driven Service Director to lead our service department. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of service operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Job Responsibilities- Manage daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service revenue and customer retention.
- Lead, train, and motivate the service team, including advisors, technicians, and porters.
- Monitor and analyze department performance, setting goals and tracking key performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines, dealership policies, and industry regulations.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and implementing service improvements.
- Work closely with parts, sales, and finance departments to ensure seamless dealership operations.
- Oversee warranty and repair processes, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
- Manage service department expenses and budgets effectively.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, technology, and best practices to enhance department performance.
- Previous experience as a Service Director, Service Manager, or similar leadership role in an automotive dealership.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to drive service revenue and efficiency.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with dealership management software and service tools.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive service management.
