This position will focus on employee relations, performance management, and supporting the organization's expansion initiatives.

Job Description
  • Serve as the on-site HR leader at the NJ-based plants, working closely with plant leadership.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees, addressing employee concerns, mediating disputes, and fostering a positive work environment aligned with company values.
  • Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, with a focus on New York regulations, and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate development programs to enhance employee skills and performance, supporting the company's growth and productivity goals.
  • Review, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure they reflect current legal standards and support the company's strategic objectives.

The Successful Applicant
  • 7+ years of HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of New York labor laws and compliance practices.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, talent management, and HR compliance.
  • Ability to work on-site five days a week.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
