Job Description
As a post-anesthesia care unit nurse (RN PACU), you will provide short-term care to patients immediately following surgery, from 30 minutes to several hours post-op. Patient observation is essential to your job, including regularly taking vitals, ensuring proper breathing, and administering oxygen or pain medication when necessary.You may also care for patients in the pre-op setting managing their needs and preparing them for surgery. In this role, you must quickly respond to any change in a patient's condition, beginning CPR if necessary.
Minimum Requirements- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty
- Active RN license
