Logistics Coordinator - Robert Half

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator located in Elmont, New York, 11096, United States. In this role, you will be a key player in maintaining efficient business systems and coordinating shipping logistics in a warehouse-like environment.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with internal stakeholders, FDA, customs, customers, and all involved parties to ensure smooth shipment of goods
• Accurately process customer credit applications
• Utilize CRM and ERP solutions to maintain accurate customer credit records
• Manage all shipping logistics, including the creation of labels, bill of ladings, and all necessary documentation for shipping
• Conduct light billing/data entry tasks to assist the bookkeeper
• Resolve customer inquiries and monitor customer accounts to take appropriate actions
• Perform miscellaneous general clerical tasks as required
• Utilize Cargowise software to enhance efficiency and accuracy of tasks
• Exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills throughout all tasks carried out
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and procedures.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Logistics Coordinator role or similar.
• Demonstrated proficiency in business systems.
• Experience with Cargowise is required.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms is essential.
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a must.
• Experience with ERP Solutions is necessary.
• Proficiency in About Time software is desirable.
• Ability to perform billing functions with accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures.
