We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Booneville, Mississippi. Responsibilities:- Engage in account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to verify our financial transactions.
- Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all financial data is up to date and accurate.
- Prepare and post journal entries to record financial transactions.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze data, create reports and present financial information.
- Oversee month-end close activities and prepare financial reports for management.
- Utilize NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to manage financial data and perform accounting functions.
- Participate in month-end close activities and ensure all accounting tasks are completed within the deadline.
- Stay updated with accounting standards and regulations and ensure compliance in all accounting tasks.
- Train and support junior staff members in various accounting tasks and use of financial software. • Must have a minimum of one year of experience as an Accountant
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation required
- Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation necessary
- Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is essential
- Knowledge of General Ledger is important
- Proficiency in Journal Entries is expected
- Must have experience using Microsoft Excel
- Experience in Month End Close procedures is a must
- Familiarity with NetSuite software is crucial
- Knowledge of Oracle software is required
- Experience with SAP software is highly desirable
- Must have participated in Month-end Close Activities before.
